Soil Stabilisation
Soil stabilisation is seen as a solution that can achieve the following objectives:
-
Reuse soil excavated from the site reducing the amount of unsuitable soil that will need to be removed from the site
-
Reduce the requirement for aggregate to be imported to the site
-
Ensure that the construction schedule is maintained during the earthworks phase of the project/ Stabilisation works will remove some of the risks associated with wet materials in excavations or stockpiles. Allow quicker recovery times after inclement weather, reduce off site dependencies such as haulage to off-site licensed tips
-
